The St. Andrew the Apostle Society and the Amalfitani-Italian Community of New Haven continue to celebrate their heritage and traditions.

Opening Night - Thursday, June 26, 2008

  • 6:00 p.m.  Opening Parade through Historic Wooster Square
  • 6:00-8:00 p.m. Live On Air broadcast with WELI’s Coach George DeMaio
  • 7:30 p.m.  Blessing of the Feast and Statue of Saint Andrew the Apostle Unveiling of the Statue by Andrew Pettola and Grace L. Abbagnaro
  • 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. Musical Entertainment by REMEMBER SEPTEMBER (www.myspace.com/rememberseptember) On August 9th, 2008 Remember September is performing at a special benefit concert for the wounded soldiers and their families. At the Feast they will be accepting cards, small gifts and donations to bring for the troops.

  • 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Musical Entertainment by FANTASY - Special Solo Performance by Richard DiPalma
  • 8:00   Honoring the Nicola Amodio Family and the Bestowment of St. Andrew’s Ladies Society Scholarships
